Of course, patients are usually familiar with home-based T.E.N.S. units, but our more advanced commercial machines can do 4 other types of stimulation that are totally different from what a T.E.N.S. machine is capable of. These machines are capable of helping draw oxygen to the area of healing, decreasing pain, relaxing muscles, and even strengthening muscles in recovery. The computers that run these units have programs that actually change the parameters of the stimulation during the ENTIRE time that the machine is running on our patients.
